Cable Bracing

There are instances where weak or damaged trees – or trees that could potentially be damaged in the future – need to be strengthened using a system called cable bracing. This could hold a tree structure in place until it repairs itself (rather like a splint) or it can be used to ensure that a tree grows in the right direction, or doesn’t encroach on neighbouring property.

We are specialists in non-invasion bracing and flexible restraints, utilising either synthetic fibre ropes or steel cables, and we can carry out regular checks to make sure that the trees are developing in the ways that were intended.
